Back of My Hand

Science Hack Day Dublin took place 9th and 10th of March 2019 and we tried to know the back of our hand in as many interesting ways as we could over the hackathon. The event was held in the excellent TOG hackerspace Dublin. And sponsored by Science Foundation Ireland as the event helps show off the creative side of the scientific and maker community in Ireland.

The project was carried out by Jen McHugh's (the hand talent), Claire O'Leary, Laura Walsh, David Curran and Colum O'Keefe.

This picture for the project was made by Bionic Laura.

. " A polar bear's liver contains between 24,000 and 35,000 IU per gram. Compare that to the tolerable upper level of vitamin A intake for a healthy adult human: 10,000 IU’
